Bring your LUNCH & LEARN Teleseminar, hosted by the OC/PRSA Advocacy Committee
Crisis Management in a Down Economy: No Margin for Error
Critical Survival Steps to Take in the Earliest Crisis Moments
If time is your enemy in a crisis, in the current environment time is your enemy on steroids. Most reputational harm in a crisis is self-inflicted. This teleseminar focuses on the critical survival steps organizations must take in the earliest moments of crisis to prevent the kinds of self-inflicted harm that ruin reputations, reduce competitiveness and get CEOs fired.
You will understand:
- With trust in institutions at an all-time low, stakeholders no longer give companies the benefit of the doubt.
- As prominent companies disappear seemingly overnight and whole industries find their business models don’t work anymore, assumptions about what companies can withstand are often wrong.
- Why previously routine matters (corporate jets, renovated offices, bonuses) suddenly provoke stakeholder outrage and backlash.
