Viral Videos: Are They Right for Your Next Campaign?

Viral Videos - Are They Right for Your Next Campaign?
An Introduction to Online Video

OC/PRSA has invited Ron Ploof, founder of OC New Media, to join us for a candid discussion about creative video and using it in your public relations outreach efforts. Mr. Ploof will share his insight on how you can implement video cost-effectively and maybe more importantly, how you can convey the value of using online video to your client or company.

Corporations have produced video programming for many years--most requiring big budgets.  Yet, with the emergence of affordable digital cameras, cheap video-editing software and free storage and distribution, the rules have changed.  Join Ron Ploof for a lighthearted yet fact-filled introduction to online video, as he discusses the lessons he's learned while helping companies large and small use this exciting new medium. He'll show you:
  • How to introduce video to your clients/management without freaking them out.
  • How to talk with both "techies" and  "creatives" about online video
  • How to cost-effectively produce, edit and publish online videos
  • How to integrate online video into corporate communications campaigns
  • Important lessons from the best viral videos
You can learn more about him at his blog http://ronamok.com or you can follow @ronploof on Twitter.
