May 20, 2010
OC/PRSA'S AWARD-WINNING DIVERSITY COMMITTEE HOSTS ITS
6th ANNUAL DIVERSITY CONFERENCEMommy (and Daddy) Marketing 101With the "blogosphere" firmly established as a viable media channel, PR pros must work with influential online media contributors to reach these powerful influencers and their readers. This month's program focuses on reaching a specific set of influencers: "mommy bloggers."
Did you know...?
- Women in the U.S. control 83 cents of every household dollar.
- Women are now the heaviest Web users, with 11.5 million moms actively contributing to or reading blogs.
- When making purchasing decisions, today's women (busy moms included) tend to choose online media as a resource above TV and print media.
Hear from Orange County's blogging moms and dads about how to successfully work together on editorial and PR opportunities.
