ABOUT THE WEBINAR:We've started to see standards for public relations and communications measurement that are slowly becoming acknowledged and implemented industry-wide. Yet how do you measure social media, let alone traditional media? Learn how to go from measurement novice to maven, how to incorporate measurable objectives into a communication plan and how to connect public relations outcomes to business objectives that demonstrate true value.
You will be able to:
- Comprehend the importance of measurable objectives to the strategic process.
- Understand how to support organizational “KPIs” (key performance indicators) in your work.
- Clearly demonstrate the business value of public relations to your organization.
INSTRUCTOR:Shonali Burke, ABC, is principal of Shonali Burke Consulting, based in the
Washington, D.C., area. She has more than 13 years of experience in the
communications field, including agency experience and a stint as the ASPCA’s vice president, Media & Communications, where she recreated the communications function for the country’s oldest animal welfare organization and instituted its award-winning measurement program. Shonali was named to PRWeek's first top "40 Under 40" list of U.S.-based public relations professionals in 2007, and speaks frequently on the business of communication, including public relations and measurement.
