Attention Mid- to Senior Level Practitioners:
Join the 60-plus members of the OC/PRSA chapter who have taken their career and professional development to the next level by becoming accredited through our APR program. APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) is a professional certification that signifies mastery of public relations skills. It is a designation of credibility and a mark of distinction within the profession.
Coaching sessions will be led by many of our chapter's sharpest accredited professionals on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at:

Classes will start January 10 and end February 21. The Readiness Review for all candidates who complete the class will be held on Saturday, March 15.
Payment is required with registration. Coaching session cost is $250, with a $100 rebate for candidates who complete the first portion of their testing process on March 15.

Session cost includes supplemental study materials and a study guide from PRSA. There is also a testing cost of $395, with a $110 rebate from PRSA for candidates who pass the test. The text used in the sessions is "Effective Public Relations," 8th Edition, by Cutlip, et. Al., which we advise you to obtain before the first session. (It's available used online)
The class location should be finalized in November 2007 and will be in the Irvine/Tustin area.
NOTE:
In order to qualify as a candidate, you must have five years of professional public relations experience. You must be a current PRSA member to enroll in the coaching sessions.
