OC/PRSA is welcoming former CNBC Senior Features Correspondent Mike Hegedus to give us honest insight on why he didn’t answer the 100-plus PR pitches he received on a daily basis at CNBC. Mike Hegedus, a 38-year television industry veteran, was most recently Sr. Features Correspondent for CNBC and has appeared in 'Mike On America' on Power Lunch, 'Mike On The Money' on 'On The Money,' among other programs. He was also host of the NBC crime show, 'Prime Suspect’ in addition to working for a Disney start-up called Americast. Career awards include the National Headliner Award for Economic and Consumer Reporting, an Emmy nomination for CNBC coverage of China and being named the RVA Journalist of the Year. Hegedus is currently working in the video consultation and production industry with McKinley Reserve Media Group in Newport Beach.
