Consensus Planning Group, Inc. (CPG), one of Southern California’s most-respected strategic communications firms is growing! CPG is known for conducting effective community relations, public affairs and public relations programs for a diverse portfolio of clients grappling with complex and controversial issues and projects.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a track-record of success, network of relationships and entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to our rapidly growing Irvine office.

The successful candidate will be charged with developing and implementing strategic communications programs, managing project teams, cultivating client relationships, building new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth of the firm.



Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement strategic communication programs

· Create content and design concepts for collateral materials including, fact sheets, newsletters, websites, etc.

· Conduct stakeholder outreach through the facilitation of events including, open houses, briefings, presentations, etc.

· Prepare media materials and cultivate relationships with the press to best position clients



Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment, meeting aggressive deadlines with attention to detail

• Existing and active relationships in the real estate development, public relations, government, and/or other relative fields, a plus

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer skills

• Commitment to excellence and professionalism

• Extensive client/project management experience for community outreach, public relations projects, a plus

• Experience and/or interest in developing new business opportunities

• Minimum three years of experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Public Relations or a related field
