Wanted an energetic, creative, excellent writer and internet-savvy marketing whiz immersed in what it means to "live life online". Those with daily use of Twitter, blogs, message boards and social networks are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Marketing Director with various tasks, including developing Power Point presentations and coordinating projects across functions.
- Interact with legal, cross corporate agencies, consultants, and sales as well as, colleagues in Mexico
- Be our eyes and ears on the web
- Build and maintain our content and distribute by way of social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Youtube, Myspace and emerging channels.
- Participate in conversations that surround our content and brand, answer comments, engage consumers on a variety of different platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, P.R. or related field.
- Experience working in a fast paced marketing environment – agency or client
- Experience in developing and managing social media programs including developing and managing online communities
- Exceptional computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word – some HTML and blogging software experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish and English
- Food or package goods experience a bonus
