Corporate Communications Intern

This individual will support the PR, marketing communications and media relations efforts, serving all business groups at Broadcom. The Public Relations intern will work closely with PR managers to coordinate PR activities including refining website content, monitoring coverage, helping to deliver effective communications strategies to all target audiences including media (both business and trade) and industry/ market analysts.
Essential Duties:
- Track coverage and compiling press clipping packets
- Monitor Industry Analyst Reports and post to Broadcom’s Intranet site
- Help to develop and execute monthly media communications’ plans
- Generate monthly status reports
- Work with team to help pitch stories and respond to media and analyst requests
- Help to develop messaging for press releases and coordinate the measurement of PR programs and activities
- Assist in generating content for marketing collateral, including web content, white papers, and presentations
- Generate and manage graphic’s requests
- Generate creative content for Broadcom’s Intranet site
- General interest in technology and innovation
Requirements: Requires current enrollment in BA in Communications program or equivalent; minimum (must extend to next year). Requires PC proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and a firm understanding of AP Style.
