Analyst Relations Manager

Epicor is a global leader dedicated to providing integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM) software solutions to midmarket companies around the world.


The Analyst Relations Manager is responsible for driving a strategic communication program to the industry analyst community, and is a key role on the Epicor Public Relations team. Reporting to the Director of Public Relations and Analyst Relations, the AR Manager is responsible for maintaining strong, positive relationships with industry analysts and other influencers covering the enterprise software applications market worldwide, to drive awareness of and advocacy for Epicor and our solutions. Working closely with executives, product marketing, and the broader marketing team, this individual will be responsible for driving a program that conveys our business strategy, product direction and competitive position. The position requires an understanding of the enterprise business software market, and established relationships with industry analysts. This is an opportunity to help build and evolve the analyst relations program at an innovative, growth-oriented company.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute analyst communications strategy; define measurable objectives aligned to business goals
  • Maintain positive, strategic relationships with key industry analysts and other influencers
  • Develop analyst-specific positioning and messaging that results in positive analyst coverage and favorable perceptions
  • Provide strategic consultation on analyst products, services and data to product marketing and sales; including how to leverage analysts to create opportunities and drive deals
  • Collaborate with marketing team to deliver analyst content and programs to drive lead generation
  • Plan and staff analyst meetings and tours; provide meaningful feedback to spokespeople and other stakeholders
  • Respond quickly to inbound analyst requests, as well as internal requests for data and information
  • Work with PR and Marketing counterparts to plan product launch outreach, including scheduling pre-briefs with targeted industry analysts; secure analyst quotes and media references
  • Manage analyst contract negotiations
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Analyst Relations in the technology industry
  • Established relationships with key industry analysts covering the enterprise software market; preferably ERP, Retail software systems and cloud computing
  • Proven track record creating and implementing successful analyst relations campaigns, working with top tier analyst firms
  • Exceptional communication, writing, editing, project and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resources
  • Proactive, energetic, efficient, resourceful  team player with a dedication to excellence
  • BA/BS in Communications, Business or Marketing-related field preferred
