PR Account Executive

• Writes, contacts media and performs general public relations responsibilities
• Implements assignments of public relations events, media releases, writing (trade, marketing, products, technical, etc.), marketing public relations, promotional public relations, seminars and other related public relations projects.
• Maintains contact with client, media and outside vendors, as assigned
• May supervise a PR Account Coordinator
• Coordinates design and production.
• Keeps track of budgets
• Handles administrative duties as assigned
• Keeps supervisor apprised of activities and performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required.  PR or journalism degree a plus.
• At least two years of related PR agency or in-house client experience in food, consumer packaged goods or retail PR accounts A MUST.
• AP writing proficiency.

• Outlook, Excel, Word, and PPT necessary for the job.
