Jessica Jakary

Jessica Jakary is a staff assistant in CEO Community/Media Relations with the County of Orange. Her primary responsibilities include writing and editing articles for the monthly County Connection newsletter, brochures for the County Executive Office and Board of Supervisors, and web content for the County's web site. She also responds to public and media inquiries, plans promotional events and educational seminars, budgets giveaway expenditures and assists with the production of video segments and documentaries.

Ms. Jakary joined CEO Community/Media Relations in 2007 after completing an internship within the department and having worked as Editor-in-Chief for the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses and Public Relations Director for The Pond, Inc.

She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and Religious Studies, and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and national honor society Kappa Tau Alpha.
