Kate Mossbarger

As an account executive at Porter Novelli, Kate Mossbarger works on media relations, community relations and consumer public relations accounts for clients including the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, Children & Families Commission of Orange County, Dave & Buster's, Irvine Public Schools Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

Kate plays key roles on the media relations teams for Boise Valley Economic Partnership, Children & Families Commission, Irvine Public Schools Foundation and Second Harvest. She has worked with reporters at The New York Times, Fortune Small Business and various national industry trade publications. She has placed front-page articles on behalf of her clients in publications including The Orange County Register, The San Bernardino Sun and the Irvine World News.

Kate joined Porter Novelli as an assistant account executive. Prior to Porter Novelli, she contributed to the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau's public relations and destination marketing efforts as a communications coordinator. She began her PR career as an intern with Rabinowitz Media in Washington, D.C., while participating in the UCDC internship program through the University of California. Kate graduated from UC San Diego with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Linguistics and Political Science, International Relations.

Kate serves on the board of the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America as chair of the Young Professionals Committee.
