Leisa Brug Kline

Leisa Brug Kline is the chief of staff for Assemblyman Chuck DeVore in California's 70th Assembly District. She is also the owner of a boutique public relations company, Van der Brug PR, specializing in publicity campaigns for non-profit and political organizations. Leisa has developed and successfully managed numerous public relations campaigns for social causes, elected officials, and candidates for state and federal office. She has also worked as a campaign manager for top-tier Congressional campaigns, and served as a spokesperson for various political candidates and measures on the local, state and federal level. Prior to embarking on her political career, Leisa was a broadcast news journalist working as director of news operations for American General Media, news director for Westcoast Broadcasting, and a reporter and anchor on stations throughout Central California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Leisa serves as president elect for the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
