Kristen Hayes is the Communications Director for CRC Health Group. In this role, she is responsible for enhancing awareness of the company, its 135 facilities, key employees and large-scale events by developing, implementing and monitoring media relations, managing crisis communications and directing a variety of external and internal relations efforts. Kristen has over 10 years of for-profit, not-for-profit and agency experience in marketing, public relations, promotions, fundraising and event planning.

Prior to CRC Health Group, Kristen was the Marketing and Communications Manager for Orange County commercial real estate firm Johnson Capital where she was responsible for all internal and external marketing communication including press releases, ad copy, corporate intranet, website and events. Before this, she was a marketing and communications director at the University of San Diego where she managed marketing collateral design, press releases, e-newsletters, conferences, events and fundraising efforts. Kristen also worked in marketing and promotions at LEGOLAND California and for boutique, San Diego based PR agency, Stock/Alper & Associates, following a career in entertainment with the William Morris Agency and personally for Academy Award winning director Steven Soderbergh.

Kristen graduated cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She completed media training by former NBC News anchor Vic Salazar in 2009.
