Member Highlight

An OC PRSA member since 1996, Cynthia Ragland, APR, oversees marketing, communications and public relations outreach for the Orange County Community Foundation. She works to raise awareness of the foundation’s mission among a wide range of Orange County stakeholders including donors, local nonprofit agencies, and business and community leaders. Before joining the OCCF team in 2007, she served as principal of an independent marketing firm and led a million-dollar brand management team at neoBrands/Shafer Advertising & Public Relations. Her corporate communications experience includes managing publicity for Ingram Micro’s $16 billion initial public offering.

Cynthia holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS in communications from Cal State Fullerton. She is a board member of OC PRSA and chair of the senior roundtable. She earned her APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) from the Public Relations Society of America in 1999.
