Katie Coates Ageson, APR

Katie has wide-ranging experience in public affairs and community outreach, having worked in these fields for more than 20 years in Orange County, Los Angeles, Northern California, Arizona, and Europe, within both the public and private sectors. Her strengths include building consensus, effectively working with teams, writing, public speaking, and using creative strategies to achieve goals. She has broad experience in assisting her clients gain approval for their projects while making their way through the entitlement process, as well as reputation management, message development and communications program formulation and implementation. She has also worked extensively with city councils in Southern and Northern California, as well as other elected and appointed officials. She excels at all kinds of communication, particularly with regard to expressing complicated material in a manner understandable to lay audiences. Katie earned her APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) from the Public Relations Society of America in 1996.
