PRSA Responds to Unsubstantiated Assault on PR Industry
A few days ago, a USA Today piece derided the PR industry as "amoral, difficult to define, and difficult to measure." As we all know, this couldn't be more off-base.
The author of the USA Today piece is not the first to misrepresent our industry, nor will he be the last.
As PR practitioners and members of PRSA, we can help alleviate this problem by continuing to advance the values ensconced by our Code of Ethics so that business and government leaders, non-profit organizations, academics, journalists and the general public may continue to recognize the value and benefits our industry upholds.
We encourage you to share this email, along with The USA Today article and PRSA's response, with friends and colleagues.
