President
Katie Coates Ageson, APR (Accredited in Public Relations) is a resident of Huntington Beach with 20 years' experience in the public relations industry. Ageson is president of PR Projects which specializes in crisis communications, public relations project management, community outreach, public affairs, public speaking and event planning.
President-Elect
Brad Lotterman, APR and resident of Aliso Viejo, is currently serving his third year on the Board. Lotterman is the senior manager for external communications at OptumHealth in Santa Ana - the health and wellness business of UnitedHealth Group that serves nearly 60 million people. In this role, Lotterman creates and implements communications programs to help the company increase its brand recognition and reach sales goals.
Secretary
Danny Craig of Aliso Viejo is currently serving his second year on the Board and has recently taken a position as the external communications lead for Stantec - a civil engineering firm that provides professional consulting services in planning, engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental sciences, project management, and project economics for infrastructure and facilities projects.
Treasurer
Deborah Bell, resident of Laguna Niguel, is currently serving her third year on the Board and is the public relations and sponsorship coordinator for Taco Bell Corp. in Irvine where she supports non-crisis public relations and integrated marketing campaigns, as well as the development and coordination of the company's various sponsorships and promotional events.
Membership
Kristin Bush, a resident of Huntington Beach, recently joined the OC/PRSA Board and brings with her more than 10 years' experience in marketing and public relations. Bush is the director of communications at RipeOrange in Newport Beach - a marketing, communications and design firm. As membership chair, Bush will strive to encourage new members to join the professional organization while ensuring existing members are getting value for their membership to one of Orange County's leading PR organizations.
Advocacy Committee
Jenny Wedge, a resident of Orange, is currently serving her third year on the OC/PRSA Board and has worked in the public affairs and media relations fields for more than 10 years. As chair of the Advocacy Committee, Wedge will lead the chapter in strengthening the voice for the public relations profession in Orange County. Wedge is the public information officer and manager of public relations at John Wayne Airport where she is responsible for day-to-day media relations, crisis communications planning and overseeing the communications program for the Airport's Capital Improvement Program.
Community Service Committee
Doug Fleischli is a resident of Mission Viejo, where he also serves as president of Doug Fleischli Public Relations. With nearly 20 years' experience in the public relations profession, Fleischli brings professional wisdom and creativity to the Board. As chair of the Community Service Committee, Fleischli will assist public relations professionals in providing the opportunity to share practical advice with local nonprofit organizations and small businesses. In his business, he strives to develop programs and products that build community between an organization and its stakeholders and clients.
Diversity Committee
Bridget Jackson is a resident of Aliso Viejo and an account executive for Chan & Associates, Inc. in Fullerton. Jackson joins the OC/PRSA Board as chair of the three-time award winning Diversity Committee of which she's been a member since 2006. The Diversity Committee strives to educate members about the value of a diverse workforce as well as about the merits of including a multi-cultural practice in their business plans.
Internet Communications
Randy Taylor, San Clemente resident and president of Taylor Digital is entering his fourth year serving on the OC/PRSA Board of Directors. He has contributed his technical expertise to the chapter in creating a content management system for easy updates to the Web site. Taylor has also remained on the front end of social media trends, providing information for businesses about how to manage and track their social media content.
Programs
Kate Mossbarger, an Irvine resident, has vast experience on the OC/PRSA Board as she has served as co-chair of the Young Professionals (YoPro) Committee, PROTOS Awards and currently will be planning each monthly OC/PRSA lunch and learn session in 2010. Mossbarger is a senior account executive at Global Results Communications, Inc.
PROTOS Awards
Ricca Silverio is a resident of Irvine and has more than 10 years' public relations and marketing communications experience. Silverio works for Bock Communications, an award-winning agency, leading the strategic practice of global PR and digital media campaigns. She develops, manages and executes programs for the firm's technology clients.
Sr. Roundtable
Cynthia Ragland, APR and resident of Irvine, is vice president of marketing & communications for the Orange County Community Foundation where her team supports the effort of connecting donors and nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life for our community. As a seasoned PR professional, Ragland has contributed her experience to the OC/PRSA chapter for many years.
Young Professionals
Co-Chairs Matt Prince and Jessica Carrington represent a community of public relations professionals with less than 10 years' experience in the industry - Young Professionals. Prince, a resident of Orange, is the director of communications for Orange County Business Council where he leads all marketing, media, creative services, web and communication components for the Business Council working to ensure OCBC continually asserts itself as "the leading voice of business in Orange County."
Carrington of Belmont Shore is an account executive at Idea Hall overseeing the implementation of public relations, marketing and advertising activities for business-to-business and consumer clients and is additionally responsible for Design Studio traffic management, ensuring all deadlines and efficiencies are achieved.
Historian
Lisa Cottini Lanterman, APR resident of Long Beach, will serve in a new role for the OC/PRSA Chapter as historian, ensuring every event is documented for the chapter. Cottini is a senior account executive for Porter Novelli in Irvine where she manages several of the PR firm's leading community relations and media relations accounts for clients including the Hoag Hospital Irvine and Dave & Buster's.
