Covid Communications

Who, What, When, Where, How to Communicate with Your Employees About COVID

This presentation will cover how to navigate the minefield that is communicating with your employees regarding all things COVID – vaccines, return-to-work, positive cases, and employee questions. We will discuss, provide recommendations on, and cover case studies aimed at providing internal communications professionals with the tools they need to effectively communicate with employees – in compliance with the many COVID laws in place. Beyond legally compliant communications, we will discuss common pitfalls, risks present – including based on communication style and content – and why getting it right is so vital. Your internal communication could shortly become “Exhibit A” in a lawsuit. This presentation will help internal communications professionals inform their employees of the laws applicable to them, and, even more will serve as guidance in prevention and preparation for potential lawsuits by keeping you out of hot water in the first place, and helping you set yourself with a defensible position should the need ever arise.
