Digital Success Summit: Learn the Key How To’s for a Digitally Driven World

No longer can communicators wear one hat, but must be savvy digital professionals with a breadth of skills to advance messages across multiple platforms to reach desired audiences. Attendees will walk away from this half-day summit with the skills to succeed in a hyper-speed, digitally-driven world, including how to launch and grow a podcast, leverage your news cycle, uncover trends that can lead to successful PR strategies, and build a tribe through community activations and social media.

How to Leverage your News Cycle

Foodbeast SpeakersThis session will delve into how to go beyond brand speak and converse naturally with your target consumer, news cycle underwriting and being realistic with press coverage, capturing syndication-worthy footage, doubling down on storytelling, and the importance of third-party validation.

Elie Ayrouth is a co-founder and Publisher at FOODBEAST, Inc. A product of a film background and professional PR agency experience, Elie currently leads content direction for all of Foodbeast’s written, scripted video series and client integrations.

Analiese Trimber is Account Manager at FOODBEAST, Inc., where she oversees a portfolio of over 20 syndication partners, and executes branded campaigns. Analiese’s experience in the food media industry also includes work with Food Network, Spoon University, Tastemade, and NOBREAD.

How to Launch and Grow a Podcast

This session will delve into how to launch a podcast and grow an audience through authentic and engaging content.

Tyler MounceTyler Mounce is Vice President of Morale at Stark in Irvine, CA. Originally from Spokane, WA, Tyler moved to California in 2007, where he majored in Biblical Studies from Biola University. At the time he was planning to follow in his father’s footsteps and go into academia, but because of his background playing sports, he had a natural interest in health and fitness. Initially becoming a personal trainer with the intention of using it as a means of paying his way through post-graduate studies. But since starting at Stark in 2011, he has continued with the company.

During his time at Stark, Tyler has worked both as a personal trainer and nutrition coach. His current role as VP of Morale includes business development, on-boarding new members, and spear-heading the company’s corporate philanthropy efforts. In addition, he is one of the contributors on the company’s podcast, Stark Naked Radio, and does a lot of public speaking on health and fitness related topics. Tyler is also heavily involved in non-profit work in Orange County and is one of the founders of 100 Companies Who Care, an organization focused on raising funds for charities serving the Orange County community.

Jessica WattsJessica Watts is the Beacon of Light.  Jessica moved to the Orange County area 2 years ago and attended California State University Fullerton to study Entertainment and Tourism. She graduated last May with her Bachelors in Communications: Entertainment. Now she is the social media coordinator at Stark, and is the producer of their 3 podcasts.

How to Use Social Listening to Uncover Trends and Design Consumer-Centric Campaigns

This session will discuss trend spotting and using social media listening and insights to drive successful PR moments and campaigns.

Matt PrinceMatt Prince is Sr. Manager, PR & Brand Experience of Taco Bell Corp. currently leads Taco Bell’s earned media, communications integration, and special projects for the global brand. This includes food and digital innovation, brand engagement and experiential marketing . He is responsible, in part, for several of culture’s biggest contributions: Taco Bell weddings, Taco Bell Beer, creation of the taco emoji and saving the world’s first Taco Bell… you’re welcome.

Previously, Prince lead social media engagement as well as Executive Communications for the Walt Disney Co. Prince has been named to two 40 Under 40 lists: PR Week and OC Metro Magazine. He served as President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Orange County Chapter in 2014 and is the advisor to his alma mater (California State University Fullerton’s) PRSA student chapter since 2011. He was recently inducted to the PRSSA National Hall of Fame, and was named ‘National Advisor of the Year’ twice (2013 & 2015).

How to Cultivate and Grow a Brand Tribe

This session will discuss how to grow a brand tribe with community activations and brand ambassadors (amigos) and how social plays a role.

Madison OlsonMadison Olson is the Digital Media Manger of Guayaki Yerba Mate. Her work consists of social media management, content production, influencer & ambassador relationship cultivation, and the creation of marketing campaigns for their web channels. Guayaki and Madison take a unique approach to driving sales and consumer loyalty by creating a strong sense of community. Madison will share about how she has helped grow the brand’s tribe via community connections and appreciation.
