Jackie’s background is in recruiting, where she has 6+ years of experience recruiting in the IT/technical, creative, biotech, automotive and staffing industries. Jackie is also a career content creator on Tiktok with over 144K followers, and has built a community with her passion for people and her love for helping students, jobseekers, and all types of professionals feel empowered and confident with the job-search process.

Gloria Dallas has been working in the Silicon Valley for the past 8+ years. She has worked at both large tech corporations and small startups as a recruiter that focuses on building diverse pipelines and inclusive hiring processes. She is the co-founder of Envision Inclusion, a DEI consulting firm that was started last year. Her passion is working with companies to ensure that every employee feels comfortable and fulfilled at work, regardless of their background.

Alan Weatherbee serves as principal recruiter and leader of Weatherbee Talent Groupsince 2015. He delivers full-cycle executive recruitment services with a contemporary approach. Leveraging over fifteen years of recruiting excellence and a niche understanding of the public relations and marketing fields, he prides himself on identifying game-changing talent for winning organizations.

Prior to founding Weatherbee Talent Group, Alan served as Senior Vice President of Talent Search for the global PR and strategic communications firm, Allison+Partners. In this position, he was responsible for agency-wide talent acquisition, headhunting in all US and foreign markets successfully. Sitting in Orange County, CA, Alan nimbly added talent with evolved digital marcom capabilities as well as general PR practitioners and leaders. He was the “first handshake” of the agency and delivered key talent into the organization during an exciting time in the agency’s evolution.


Angela Burrell, APRAngela Burrell, APR
PR & Communications Professional and Educator

Angela Burrell’s career spans over 25 years in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, and includes many public relations and communications disciplines such as media relations, website/content management, social media, crisis communications, events management, writer/editor/blogger, trade show management, and broadcast journalism. Posts she has held include Public Information Officer (or PIO), Public Relations Specialist for Toastmasters International and PR Manager for the leading security solutions company in North America.

Burrell holds a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Howard University and a Master’s in Communication Studies from Emerson College. In 2010, she earned her accreditation in Public Relations. Additionally, she is a long-time member of the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and has been the chapter’s PRSSA liaison for Biola University since 2012.

In 2019, Burrell transitioned into a teaching role. She currently instructs journalism and co-advises the award-winning student newspaper Viewpoints at Riverside City College. She will teach PR this fall at Glendale College. In 2020, she began serving as chapter Chair of APR and ethics, helping members earn their accreditation in public relations via a 10-week study course.
