The rapid development of digital innovation has shaped the public relations industry over the past decade and will continue to do so at an accelerated pace. In our exclusive luncheon, leaders in public relations, social media marketing and corporate communications who are pushing the boundaries of digital innovation will share key insights into emerging public relations models. Top brands will discuss their perspective on the evolving landscape of PR, including: social media, journalism, digital marketing; the role of media and influencers; and where you should set your sights in the coming year.

Panelists include:

Mike Delgado – Director of Social Media and Community Engagement, Experian

Mike is the director of social media and community engagement at Experian and teaches social media strategy courses at the extension school of the University of California, Irvine. He leads content strategy and community building efforts on Experian social media channels and loves using live-streaming video platforms—and testing augmented reality and 360 video to improve storytelling.

Erin Glover, APR – Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort Public Relations

Erin has served as Editorial Content Director at the Disneyland Resort since 2011, overseeing all Disneyland and Aulani content on the official Disney Parks Blog as well as developing and maintaining relationships with online media. She most recently led the grand opening of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure and served on the Shanghai Disney Resort Grand Opening Task Force. Her Disney career began in 1998, working in Attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Lisa Jammal – Founder of Social Intelligence Agency (SIA)

Lisa Jammal, Founder of Social Intelligence Agency (SIA), has assembled a winning team of social media agents to form one of the top digital media headquarters of influence that excels in engaging fans and creating buzz in new and clever ways. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the entertainment, lifestyle, music, and digital media industries, Jammal has expanded her collective understanding of the media landscape to spearhead forward-looking and eye-catching campaigns for clients big and small.

Jammal embarked on her publicity career at Sony Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox, then becoming a publicist for Patricola Lust Public Relations.  Jammal founded her first independent Public Relations company, LJAM PR, in May of 2007, which specialized in breaking out emerging music acts, talent and brand management, red carpet production and management, brand sponsorships and motion pictures by innovatively combining branding, PR and social media into one “network”. Jammal then caught the attention of global agency Mission, which resulted in Jammal becoming Head of Media Relations of Mission’s West Coast operation.

In 2011, forecasting the explosion of social media influences on branding,  Jammal launched ‘The Tweet Squad,’ offering the latest social media services combined with her publicity, events, and marketing acumen.  Since 2014, SIA has catapulted the profiles of clients big and small, providing digital and traditional media awareness that drive sales and builds upon brand identity.

A graduate of UCLA’s Entertainment Public Relations Extension Program and the Loyola Marymount School of Communications, Jammal is a member of the Forbes Agency Council and has been featured on E! News, Yahoo!, Forbes, Cosmo UK, The Wrap, MarketPlace, and BizBash and 15 Fresh Faces to Watch

Laura Knapp – Vice President of Digital Strategy, Porter Novelli

Laura Knapp has more than 10 years of experience leading digital and influencer marketing programs for a variety of consumer clients, especially those within the health and wellness and food and beverage industries. Over time, her clients have included Tommy Hilfiger, Reebox, De Beers, AT&T, Robert Graham, Charming Charlie, johnnie-O, Chef V, Tractor Soda Co. and OXiGEN.

Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Laura was the founder and Managing Director of SRAX Social, a division within Social Reality, an advertising technology company that acquired an agency she founded in 2011.

In addition to her professional work, Laura sits on the Board of Directors for Social Media Club Los Angeles and has also served as a panelist and speaker covering topics within the fashion, fitness and food space as it relates to digital marketing.

Moderated by Brenda Springer, APR – Managing Director & Partner, Reveille, Inc.

It’s no wonder Brenda Springer named the agency Reveille. After all, she’s spent 17 years waking up brands, the media and consumers. Her globe-trotting adventures in communication leadership started at Skid Row, where she helped Los Angeles Mission use young Hollywood to raise awareness about homelessness. She zigzagged through North America, crossed the pond and rambled east to rouse action sports fans in North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. She dipped into South America to kick off Etnies’ global give-back program for youth and launched product collections in New York, Paris, London and beyond. Never one to hit snooze, Brenda caffeinated up in 2010 to create Reveille.
