Succeeding in Today’s Crazed Media Environment

March 19 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Pitching and placing major stories isn’t what it used to be. Social media and digital storytelling has significantly changed the way public relations and investor relations professionals reach audiences. Join us on Monday, March 19 to learn exactly how to get those placements that make our clients and company leadership happy. Leading professionals in journalism, social media, public relations and investor relations will cover the following topics:

• Staying ahead of the curve when it comes to pitching and placing major stories
• Connecting with journalists via social media
• Averting or responding in crisis
• Handling the era of fake news and blindsided attacks
• Utilizing social media to avert and manage a crisis

This event is hosted by the OC National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and OC Public Relations Society of America (OCPRSA), and sponsored by BusinessWire.
