We are currently seeking an Account Manager and an Account Executive to join our public relations team.Qualified individuals will have a passion for our industry and the business of communications—that “will-do” attitude.

Account Manager

The Account Manager acts as a client-facing lead on key accounts and is  responsible for the management of client campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of public relations strategy, including traditional, social and digital media and the ability to manage teams and budgets and a strong desire to cultivate and mentor fellow teammates. This role requires a strong track record in media relations and will develop, implement and manage the public relations and social media programs of our clients.

Capabilities and Responsibilities
·       As a trusted advisor, provide strategic counsel to or client C-suite and corporate communications teams
·       Identify business challenges and opportunities and provide integrated campaign solutions
·       Lead development of client plans – strategy, objectives, big ideas and tactics, and execute on strategic and insightful campaigns while mitigating and anticipating any obstacles or opportunities
·       Create and execute upon business growth strategies and product offerings with the ability to forecast how these plans will be monetized
·       Show very strong client service skills
·       Define clear objectives and goals for employee performance and growth with a proven track record of advancing the careers of direct reports
·       Contribute to the new business pipeline through prospecting and research. Support successful pitches and recognize opportunities for organic client growth
·       Team management, experienced in conducting interviews to evaluate junior/mid-level talent and regularly contribute referral talent to the staffing pipeline. You provide real-time training to staff and are recognized as a mentor
·       Ability to staff an account profitably with some experience preparing client budgets and have a good grasp on how account staffing impacts margin

Experience
·       5-7 years of working within public relations.
·       Agency experience with a strong portfolio of national and lifestyle media relations experience required.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Business Marketing

Qualifications
·       Strong, effective communicator
·       Exceptional writer and strong verbal communications skills
·       Highly developed teamwork skills and experience managing teams
·       Excellent project management and organization skills
·       Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
·       Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
·       Proficient in Microsoft Office products
·       Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills using AP Style

Account Executive

The Account Executive will manage day-to-day client interactions and execute PR strategy and deliverables, contribute to public relations strategy and analyze results to achieve meaningful coverage.  This role requires the ability to develop and execute an integrated communications plan including traditional, social and digital media.

Capabilities and Responsibilities
·       Plan and execute client programs in a timely, efficient and high-quality manner under the direction of an Account Manager or higher-level supervisor.
·       Attend in-person, client meetings and planning sessions, provide post meeting deliverables and facilitate brainstorms with internal team and client.
·       Develop and edit written materials including press releases, digital content and general client correspondence.
·       Lead media relations efforts including media target development, creative pitch ideation, outreach, and relationship building.
·       Assess industry trends and identify/evaluate opportunities that amplify client priorities.
·       Coordinating all aspects of event execution, including media relations efforts, vendor coordination, and staffing.
·       Generate ideas for programs that map to client objectives and conduct relevant research.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Business Marketing

Qualifications
·       Minimum of three years professional communications experience required (agency background preferred)
·       Media relations experience required.
·       Solid client relationship skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
·       Demonstrates proficiency in developing digital content.
·       Strong research, writing and editing skills and be able to evaluate and edit the work of others
·       Impeccable attention to detail
