Mentors: Join OCPRSA’s Mentorship Program!

Make a huge impact on a young PR professional who is starting out in their career. Don’t you wish you would have known what you do now when you were just starting out? As a mentor, you’ll help guide a young professional in their journey of professional growth. Share your advice, be a resource and help your mentee grow in confidence as they enter new territory. For generously volunteering your time as a mentor, you’ll be recognized through OCPRSA’s InBox and social media channels. You may also benefit from reverse mentoring and your one-on-one time with a younger professional. To be a mentor, you must have 5+ years of PR or related experience.

The program will launch next month and runs from April through October. Time commitment is no more than two hours per month. All mentorship meetings will be done digitally until further notice.

Are you an OCPRSA or PRSSA member with five or less years of experience? If so, the opportunity to be paired with an experienced PR practitioner is just for you! The mentorship program is an added benefit exclusively for YoPro members. Build your professional network, receive career advice and gain insights into the PR industry from a seasoned pro! Your mentor will be a resource for anything and everything surrounding your career and is there to help support your professional growth. To be a mentee, you must be a college graduate (or graduating senior) and an OCPRSA mentor with less than 5 years of PR or related experience.
